Rex Nwakodo

Rex is a partner in our Firm. He is dual qualified in the UK and Nigeria and is a graduate of law from the University of Wales (1988), Master of Laws (LL.M) Corporate and Commercial Law from Kings College, University of London (1989), England. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1992 and admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1995. He has significant experience of mergers and acquisitions, financing, strategic investment and general company, corporate and commercial matters for businesses. Rex has direct responsibility for a variety of corporate transactions, corporate finance work, business transactions, domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, share and business sales and purchases, private equity and venture capital investments, AIM listing, lending & financing transactions, technology practice matters, information & data protection practice matters, partnerships/LLPs, joint ventures/shareholder arrangements, MBOs and other general corporate transactions. Rex has worked across a range of sectors including banking & finance, energy, media, entertainment, leisure, technology, retail, brands & fashion, hotels & hospitality, aviation, sports, interactive media, manufacturing and telecommunications. He has advised and represented various clients including, individuals, corporates, multinationals, as well as domestic and international investors and entrepreneurs. Rex is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
