Lotanna has been involved, over the past thirty years, in litigating diverse legal matters before the various divisions of the Federal and State High Courts, the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court. He heads the Dispute Resolution practice group and appears before specialized Courts and tribunals such as the National Industrial Court, the Tax Appeal Tribunal, and the Industrial Arbitration Panel. He advises public and private sector clients on complex legal matters and has been involved in various projects requiring legal advice as part of a team or as lead adviser. This has included negotiating and structuring transactions, general advice on the effect of Nigerian law on individual projects, providing legal opinions, review of legal documents, and dispute resolution. He was elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2020.
