CAC adopts electronic distribution of company certificates

The Corporate Affairs Commission via a public statement dated 23rd of July 2020 has stated that in an attempt to efficiently provide its services in the face of the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak, it has resolved that Customers will no longer be required to physically visit the Commission’s premises in Lagos and Abuja for official transactions.

Therefore, with effect from the 10th of August 2020 and 31st of August 2020 customers in Abuja and Lagos State respectively will be required to send and receive documents from the Commission through designated courier companies.

This is is an effort to control the physical presence of customers and also to foster customer convenience.

The Commission aims to leverage on the CAC website portal and electronic mailing as a medium of interaction with customers on all issues affecting normal transactions with the Commission.
